Hey my lovelies!
I want to make a quick post about 1 of my favorite foods in the whole wide world.
SHAWARMA is the ultimate fast comfort food.
An arab staple, Shawarma is something we reach out for, for that quick bite.
Delicious, filling, affordable, and quick. Shawarma is made by stacking alternate layers of fat and meat and grilling it for long periods of time.
Then they shave the meat and stuff the bread / naan / kuboos with the shavings, leaves and vegggies, some glorious sauce, wrap it up ..
..and that is guilty pleasure in my hands! My favorite is undoubtedly chicken shawarma! :)
If you have never tried it, I highly recommend it.
This one of our fav shawarma shops. I think it's pronounced blue berry? I don't know :)
It is in Farwaniya, opposite Mr. Baker.. If you live in Kuwait, it is MUST TRY!
